Why do you volunteer for Rice?
I find value in staying involved with the school, lots of learning opportunities, fun and the opportunity to continue building Rice's value proposition.
What do you enjoy most about volunteering at Rice?
The fact that I always find fascinating people.
What's a fun Rice fact about you?
My daughter Camila was barely walking when we moved to Houston for me to attend the program. We had only one car at the time, and every morning we would leave the house to "take Dad to Rice." From hearing that, she literally learned the word "Rice" before the word "Dad."
What would you say to your fellow alumni/parents/friends to encourage them to volunteer for Rice?
You only need to put a little to get a lot back. It is good for you and great for the school. It truly makes a difference.
